PROCEEDINGS SPIE, VOLUME 11916 (XXVII INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM, ATMOSPHERIC AND OCEAN OPTICS, ATMOSPHERIC PHYSICS | July 2021)
Contents of SPIE Proceedings Vol.11916, which includes the papers reported at 27th International Symposium on Atmospheric and Ocean Optics, Atmospheric Physics, is available.
Workshop "Siberian Aerosols" is organized by the V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics (Tomsk, Russia). It involves scientists and students interested in optical and physical properties of atmospheric aerosol, its impact on climate, atmospheric sources and sinks, and other research problems related to aerosol.
The Russian Science Foundation has decided to support TEMMEX (Theoretical & Experimental Spectroscopic Methods for Extreme Conditions: in-depth investigation of spectral signatures of small hydrocrbons and radicals) International Project headed by Prof. A.V. Nikitin, IAO SB RAS (in cooperation with the Agence Nationale de la Recherche - ANR, France).
Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and High Education of the RF, visited Tomsk and got acquainted with modern results and research of the Institute of Atmospheric Optics.
The results of our investigations on the control over the orbital angular momentum (OAM) of a laser beam synthesized through combination of wave fields of a fiber array are reviewed.
Year 2020 has adjusted the format of the scientific event. For the first time in the Symposium history, all plenary, invited, and oral reports will be presented on-line in a video conference. Poster reports will be posted on the Symposium web-site with the possibility of discussion in a chat. The poster session will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 daily (Moscow Time).
Scientists of IOA SB RAS received an urgent package. Thanks to our colleagues from China !!!
