XXIX Workshop "Siberian Aerosols" November 22-25, 2022, Tomsk, RUSSIA

In November, the  V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS traditionally holds the Workshop on Siberian Aerosols. The workshop incorporates reports, presentations and round tables concerning the properties of atmospheric aerosol and  its impact on global climate and atmospheric optics. The opening session of XXIX Workshop “Siberian Aerosols” is planned to 14:30 Local Time  on November 22, 2022, in the Great Hall of V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS (Tomsk, Russia).

Elseiver’s updated science-wide author database again includes researchers of V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics

The updated version of Elseiver’s author database is now available. 
In 2022, it includes four scientists of the V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics: Dr.V.A. Banakh, Prof. V.P. Lukin, and Dr. I.N. Smalikho, Dr. A.G. Borovoi.

Solodov A.M.; Petrova T.M.; Solodov A.A.; Deichuli V.M.; Naumenko O.V. FT spectroscopy of water vapor in the 0.9 µm transparency window

Weak absorption spectrum of water vapor is recorded in the 0.9 µm transparency window using a Fourier transform spectrometer coupled with a 30-m base-length multipass cell.

Professor Gennady Matvienko (1947-2022), former director of the V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics, passed away on September 30, 2022

With great sadness we have to write that Professor Gennady Matvienko, an outstanding scientist, talented organizer of science, respected mentor, and unique person passed away late in the evening on September 30, 2022.
