Symposium in Honor of the 100th anniversary of Academician V.E. Zuev

The Symposium is dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Socialist Labor, winner of the USSR State Prize and the USSR Council of Ministers Prize, winner of 22 Government Awards, founder of the Scientific School on Atmospheric Optics, Academician Vladimir Evseevich Zuev (1925-2003).V.E. Zuev was the founder and first director of the Institute of Atmospheric Optics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1969). His efforts and energy led to the formation of Tomsk Akademgorodok as a unique scientific education with a well-developed social sphere (1975), he was at the origins of the creation of the Tomsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1979). Now 5 full-fledged academic institutes work in the Tomsk Akademgorodok, which are among the leading scientific institutions in Russia profile.
