10th Meeting of the BRICS Working Group on Astronomy in  Kazan, Russian Federation

On September 2024, the Kazan Federal University hosted the 10th Meeting of the BRICS Working Group on Astronomy. The event brought together officials, leading scientists in the field of astronomy and space experts from all BRICS countries.

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the support of the Kazan Federal University. 

V.E. Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics was represented by Professor V.P. Lukin, head of the Lab for Coherent and Adaptive Optics, presenting the report «Transition from multi-loop adaptive optics systems for solar telescopes to multi-conjugation ones».
