Satellite sensing data receiving station

Monitoring and investigation of the state and composition of the atmosphere and the Earth surface of Western Siberia are preformed every day (4–6 times a day) using a modern station of receiving of data of remote satellite sensing. The station 2.4 XLB (Orbital Systems, USA) was purchased in 2011 by the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The satellite data have been received from the station SkanEks (SkanEks, Moscow) since 1998. The data from the station 2.4 XLB have been achieved since 2014.

The antenna system of the station is enclosed into
a radio transparent sheath
